PRODUCTS
To sit along side my artwork I always wanted to make products that make print more accessible and greeting cards were an obvious first choice.
Each card is hand screenprinted onto 300gsm matte white card with matching envelope, these are FSC certified, meaning materials used have been ethically sourced from sustainable forests. They come in a self-seal compostable bag, that's made in the UK and is vegan friendly and biodegradable. I also stamp my details on the back using a rubber eco-friendly stamp made in the UK.
Thinking about sustainability also led me to make my mini collages. To reduce waste and ultimately make use of my mountain of test and imperfect prints I wanted to create small original artworks from my print work, adding drawn, paper pieces and hand finishes to create these, they are all individual in there own right.
To follow on with the theme of using every scrape of print I make, I also make badges, pocket mirrors and my wee wooden hooses. I chose new small compositions to make fun small gifting products, perfect for the makers markets I attend.
Most recently I decided to add fabric products and currently have a selection of hand screenprinted cotton tote bags. Keep your eyes peeled for more bits and pieces coming soon.
